December Downtown Lititz Senior Session
I learned pretty quickly at her downtown Lititz senior session that she seriously does it all! A lot of people are baffled by the schedule I have and all the things that I do in a week, but this girl definitely gives me a run for my money!
That is saying a lot!
I almost got tired listening to all she is involved in, and that doesn’t happen for me. So who am I talking about? Meet Josie Miller! A Warwick High School Senior and my final senior session of 2021!
She seriously ended it in the best way possible!
I absolutely loved getting to know her and all of the activities she is involved in. She is a member of the school’s tennis team, is part of a dance group, is one of the head administrators of a club through her school that helps out in the community, and is a part of several other clubs in her high school. I mean seriously, what doesn’t she do?
I love the ambition she has!
On top of it all, her smile and bubbly personality are contagious. The entire session was filled with laughter and constant chatting about ALL. THE. THINGS. To a passerby, it probably looked as though we had know each other for years. But we had only met for the first time at this session.
It was an instant friendship!
This is why I love Senior sessions. Hearing where they have come from and what their next plans are is such an exciting conversation. Plus, I seriously am so lucky with how open and friendly each on my seniors is. It means so much for them to trust me from the start, not only with how to pose, but also to fill me in on where they are in the college search! Each path is so different for every senior, and I love being a part of a glimpse of it.
It is truly an honor!
One other huge honor for me, in regards to this session, was that Josie had been envisioning her senior pictures since freshman year. FRESHMAN YEAR!! What a tall order to live up to. I was so honored for her to select me to take them, and it was so fun seeing how excited she was every minute of the session. She had seriously been thinking about it for years, and the day had finally arrived!
What an accomplishment!
I remember when I was getting mine done, it felt like another checkmark till graduation. Each checkmark made things a little more real. You could easily see that realization in Josie’s face throughout the session. She is so excited for what’s next! And I can’t wait to cheer her on through the entire thing. Trust me, she is going to move mountains, so remember her name!
Just you wait!
But, in the meantime, have fun scrolling through some of my favorites from the session! It was seriously freezing cold, and Josie didn’t let it phase her one bit. Even with a summer dress on! She nailed it!
XOXO ~ Heather Marie
