Best of 2021 Seniors

It’s the final countdown. As each day passes, the excitement and anticipation builds in each of them. It’s the last Christmas break. The final homecoming. The last spirit day.

Senior year is officially coming to an end!

Each Senior is preparing in their own way. Applying to colleges. Deciding if they will continue their sport at the next level. Potentially doing a different avenue altogether. No two paths look exactly the same. This is one of my favorite parts about being a senior photographer.

I get the joy of watching them make all these final decisions.

Each time I get together with my senior spokesmodel team, someone has a new update for me. One officially accepted. Another received a scholarship. The celebration is endless. I just love celebrating an entire year with them. Plus, for all the other senior sessions I do throughout the year, I get a quick glimpse of how their final year is going.

So much excitement and eagerness!

That same excitement comes at the end of every year when I get to highlight my favorite photos from the previous sessions in my Best of 2021 Senior Sessions blog post! This year, I had the opportunity to go to a few new locations, and my spokesmodel team doubled from the year before! So many applications!

I just couldn’t narrow it down any farther!

As many of you know, I used to coach club volleyball for a few years and about half of the girls on the team I either coached or knew from being on a different team. Plus, my cousin is a senior this year! This team is so special to me, and I have enjoyed every single minute with them!

Thankfully, we still have another semester to go!

Which means, even more group sessions, solo Senior sessions, and maybe even an activity sprinkled in here or there! Either way, still a ton of memories to make on both the spokesmodel team and in their final semester of school! So for now, enjoy some of my absolute favorites of 2021 and stay tuned for even more to come in 2022!
