Summer Mansion at Valley Country Club Wedding

Saturday’s summer Mansion at Valley Country Club wedding was such a special day in so many ways!

Saturday was actually my 30th birthday. Ever since I started working, I had vowed to myself I would never work on my birthday. That was the one day, for sure, I wanted to keep protected! Since my birthday is in June, I never was in school on my birthday, so I wanted to continue that tradition into my adult life.

But June 2022, I made an exception!

It was not an easy choice, but I knew it was the right one. You see, I met Victoria and Logan almost two years ago at another one of my HMP couples’ weddings. Victoria was one of the bridesmaids. You can check out that wedding blog here. I hit it off with these girls so quickly that when the night was done, I was so sad to be saying goodbye to all of them!

So when Victoria reached out about her wedding, I knew I had to make every effort to be there!

Even with it being on my birthday, and my 30th birthday at that, I knew I couldn’t say no! I had such an incredible time when she was a bridesmaid that I knew their wedding day was going to be just as amazing! So I made an exception! I said yes to her wedding day, even on my one day of the year I’ve made sure to be off!

I don’t regret that decision one bit!

Victoria and Logan’s wedding day was a dream come true! The weather was perfect. Especially for a June date in Maryland. The bridal party was an absolute party. Speaking of which, it contained three of my HMP Couples! See, how could I say no to this wedding day?! But most importantly, this wedding day was a dream because of Victoria and Logan!

These two knock it out of the park when it comes to the sweetest, most caring people!

They made sure to each wish me a happy birthday as soon as they saw me. They couldn’t stop thanking me and raving about me the entire night. Victoria said the kindest words I could have ever received. She said, “I couldn’t have imagined my wedding day being captured by anyone else.” That is what it is all about. That is why celebrating my birthday with these two was so, so worth it! Giving someone images from their wedding day that they will cherish for the rest of their lives is the greatest gift I could ever ask for!

What a way to ring in the big 3-0!

The best part is, I get to see all of them again next year because one of her bridesmaids booked me as her wedding photographer, too! The birthday gift that just keeps on giving! Victoria and Logan have become more than just one of my couples; they have become close friends, and I’m so honored to be sharing some of my absolute favorites from their summer Mansion at Valley Country Club wedding day!
