Lancaster Marriott Hotel Wedding

Marquis stood in the lobby of one of the grand conference rooms at the Lancaster Marriott. The sun was shining in the large glass windows along the opposite side of the space.

It was a beautiful day for their Lancaster Marriott Hotel Wedding!

The elevator chimed, and the door slid open. Out walked Veronica in her stunning Van Cleve Bridal and Evening Wear wedding gown with her cathedral veil flowing behind. The lace details in both were stunning. As she got close to Marquis, who still was facing the other way, she took one more big sigh. She had been waiting so long for him to finally see her in her wedding dress!

The reaction that followed was more than I could have imagined.

Veronica quietly spoke Marquis’s name. Giving him the “okay” to turn around. As he slowly shifted his feet to face her, his mouth completely dropped open. He was in totally shock. I honestly think he was lost for words! She was more stunning than he could have ever imagined.

It showed from the tears that quickly followed.

Pure happiness came over Marquis. How did he get so lucky to soon call this woman his wife. He couldn’t wait. It was one of the most touching first looks I have probably ever witnessed as a wedding photographer so far. It is a reaction like his that even causes me to have to hold back tears, so I can see through the camera clearly!

What a special moment for the two of them!

Honestly, their entire Lancaster Marriott Hotel wedding was special! A stunning day. Gorgeous bride and groom. Fun bridal party. A night filled with dancing and happiness. What more could one ask for! It was an honor to be a part of this day! It is even more of an honor to call Marquis and Veronica friends! Before I left that night, Marquis gave me one of their “family hugs!” He picked me up and spun me around!

I truly love that I leave feeling more like family than just the photographer!
