Elegant Valley Forge Engagement Session

From my very reliable knowledge of being a doctor after binge-watching Grey’s Anatomy, I can at least say that doctor life is not for the faint of heart. Long shifts. Constantly changing hours. Never-ending knowledge to remember.

Just thinking about it makes me tired!

Now put two doctor’s together in a relationship and tell me how that works? Up until a few months ago, I would have told you there’s no way for it to work. Well, I finally found proof that it can work. Insert Julie and Elliott! These two are getting married in April 2024 at St. James and the Inn at Leola Village, and they are both doctors! You would never know that their work lives might be crazy because when they are together, they make the most of each moment. A quick hug. A simple “Hi.” That’s all they need to feel the love of the other before starting their day!

It is the sweetest to see them together!

I got a small glimpse of it at their elegant Valley Forge engagement session. With each couple, I pause about halfway through the session to do a few detail shots of the ring. Often times, this is when the couple will go change if they have a second outfit. Julie and Elliott didn’t, so they just took a couple moments over to the side together. I always tell my couples in this case to just take a five minute walk together and enjoy celebrating this season of life.

It goes by so quickly!

As I was in the middle of photographing the ring, I looked over at them. Arms wrapped around each other. The biggest smiles on their faces. Not a care in the world if anyone else was around! That moment right there was all I needed to see to confidently know that these two are meant-to-be.

Happy to just be together. No matter where life takes them!

If their elegant Valley Forge engagement session was only a glimpse of what is to come on their wedding day, I don’t know if I’ll be able to contain myself! These two are just the cutest! I can’t wait! In the meantime, I’ll be reaching out to them to find out if the medical shows are showing what truly happens in all those situations. Now that I can get the inside scoop! But more importantly, I’ll be counting down the days till April 2024!
