Barn at Silverstone Autumn Wedding | Emily and Dave

Sep 16, 2026

Some weddings have a certain energy from the very first moment of the day. Emily and Dave’s Barn at Silverstone autumn wedding was exactly that. Warm, full of personality, packed with people who love each other well, and honestly one of the most fun days I have had the privilege of being part of.

Getting Ready at the Barn at Silverstone

Emily was stunning from the moment she stepped into her dress. Her veil caught the breeze outside and it was breathtaking every single time. Dave, on the other hand, showed up entirely as himself. Custom boots and a belt with a rattlesnake head that came right up off of them. Unique, bold, and completely him. He also spent a good portion of the day giving us a hard time during photos. But every single time we asked, he showed up, because that is just what you do when you love someone the way Dave loves Emily.

Little Wade Stole the Show

Before the ceremony even started, the highlight of the day had already happened. Wade, their son and ring bearer, started down the aisle and got a little nervous. Then he spotted his dad at the front holding a Dum Dum. From that point on, he was on a mission. Nothing was stopping him. The whole room lost it, and it set the tone for everything that followed.

The Ceremony

The Barn at Silverstone autumn wedding ceremony took place inside the barn, and it was intimate and beautiful. Fall florals and candles along the wall behind them created the warmest glow. Then came the vows. Both Emily and Dave had a little trouble remembering their lines and, one by one, asked the officiant to see the paper so they could read along. They even helped each other remember. It was funny and sweet and exactly them. Nobody planned it. It was just real.

Portraits Around the Property

The grounds at the Barn at Silverstone gave us so much to work with. The pond, the weeping willow, the stone buildings, the white fence line. Every corner of this property is stunning. Emily’s veil did what it wanted and it was perfect every time. Dave dipped her in front of the fountain and even gave us a twirl. Magical!

The Reception

The reception inside the stone barn was warm and glowing and full of energy from the very first dance. The dance floor stayed packed all night. Line dancing took over and nobody left. Emily and Dave’s people showed up fully and celebrated hard. That kind of reception only happens when the couple at the center of it has built something really good.

If you are looking for a photographer who will show up for your whole day, the funny moments, the nervous ring bearers, the rattlesnake boots, and everything in between, I would love to connect. Reach out through the contact form and let’s talk about your wedding day.
