He stood. Facing away. Tears beginning to well up inside. He had been dreaming of what this moment would be like for so long. His little girl was marrying the man of her dreams. As she walked up and called his name, the tears spilled out over his eyelids, and a stream began to run down his face as he turned around.
She could not have been more beautiful!
So many emotions going through his head at once. He was so proud and happy for her, but he was also sad to be letting her go to another man; however, he could not be more honored about the man she would soon call her husband.
She hugged him so tight, letting him know she’ll always be his little girl.
He stood at the front of the aisle. All their close friends and family waiting anxiously with him in the pews. Waiting for his beautiful bride to walk through the stain glass doors of Sacred Heart Church in Lancaster County. Waiting to finally marry the woman of his dreams.
And then she appeared.
Locked arm-in-arm with her dad, the man who raised her to be everything he loves so much about her. He too, began to well up with tears in his eyes. He couldn’t be more grateful for what was about to happen. This was about to be his wife. Best friend. Companion. And life partner.
Each of these moments, and so many more throughout Zan and Chyna’s wedding day, left me with tears in my eyes, too. So much emotion and love poured out from each person! It was so special to look around at the beautiful room at Lancaster Country Club as the two shared their first dance together under the chandeliers. All the different couples, sitting around, that had been such incredible examples for the two of them.
These two have so much support as they start this journey.
They also have a ton of people that know how to have an amazing time and just party! This was one of the best receptions to be a part of. Everyone, at some point, was up on the dance floor enjoying a song (or more) with the couple! I don’t think I stopped smiling, or laughing, the entire reception!! It was such a joyful celebration for the married couple!!
Zan and Chyna, I know I said this several times on your wedding day, but thank you!!! It was truly an honor to be a part of your wedding day! From going to school together to seeing you two rekindle your relationship, it was an absolute joy for me!! You two are a wonderful mix of adventurous, confident, and fun!! I can’t wait to see where this new life takes you two together!! I wish you two all the best, but already know, it will be amazing!! Enjoy a few sneak peeks if you happen to check your phone while on your honeymoon! Have a drink for me!
