Naomi and Shawn. These two are so lighthearted and just bring a sense of happiness and joy with you are in their presence. There is a great sense of energy when you are around these two. It is just one of the many reasons why they are a perfect HMP Couple. Happiness. Joy. Love. Supportive. The list just goes on and on!
The saying “what a small world” is just so correct.
There are so many connections that Shawn has with different people in my family, and in the end, it lead him and Naomi to reach out to me for their wedding photography. He grew up knowing my Mama for many years. She was actually the one that referred me to them. 🙂 And then sadly, through a pretty bad injury, my mom helped Shawn with physical therapy. It is just so crazy to me how connections are made, but I love when things start to get pieced together.
And I am so blessed for the connections that brought these two to me!
So many of my couples love to do their photos in open fields or surrounded my beautiful flowers which I am a complete sucker for. But when Naomi brought up the idea of the Lancaster Train Station, I immediately fell in love. This place has so much architecture within it and provides for so many different settings during their engagement session. We were inside the building, down by the tracks, and even out front. Each spot so unique and made their gallery so dynamic. It was such a breath of fresh air and gave me so many opportunities to be creative with them.
And let me tell you, these two were up for anything!
I just love that about each of my couples. They fully trust me and are willing to go or do anything I suggest. For Naomi and Shawn, though, it was filled with laughter and great conversations. I truly feel like I have known them for as long as my Mama has known Shawn. Is that not just the best? I am incredibly excited for their wedding day at the beautiful Stoltzfus Homestead! I cannot wait to watch them see each other for the first time on that day. Because based on how they looked at each other during the engagement session, I think I may just shed some tears on the wedding day!
I hope you two enjoy reliving your engagement session through these photos. I had the absolutely best time with you two. “Traveling” all the way to Philadelphia and back. 😉
XOXO ~ Heather Marie
