Boxer Loving Engagement Session at Overlook Park in Lancaster, PA

Joyful.

Lighthearted.

Adventurous.

Puppy lovers.

These are just a few of the traits that most #hmpcouples have! Add in a little side of goofiness to this list, and it perfectly describes Leann and Mike! I know I say it all the time, but I literally was nonstop laughing this entire session with these two!

I am so blessed with the couples I have!

Often times, I have to crack the jokes in the beginning or ask questions to get the couple talking at first, and then by the end, we are all chatting and laughing together. But for Mike and Leann? I think these two had me laughing more that I did them! Mike is absolutely hilarious and finds a way to have a good time doing anything. Especially when Leann is at his side! Instantly, a smile flies on his face when he looks over at her, and she is looking back. It was so special to watch these two interact together!

Such a special love they have together!

But if I’m being honest, there was another member of this shoot that may have stolen the show a few times throughout the session. Leann even warned me as we were walking to our first location that it might happen. This superstar was their pup Dodge! Oh my gosh, was he ever all about the camera! Looked right at the camera when I said his name, sitting when he was asked. He was seriously in his element! Leann was totally right!

He was ready for his close-up!

Constant smiles, puppy kisses, and walks together! It is just where each of them are meant-to-be. I am so blessed to be a part of it and capture these moments for them! Their journey is only beginning, and they deserve to look back and remember where it all began for years to come!

I hope your goofiness and fun spirits never go away. Always make it a mission to keep the other one laughing. To constantly smile at each other. And to always keep this love and to constantly be “dating” each other! You two are so much fun to be around, and I can’t wait to see you two again next year for your wedding at Barn on Bridge! I’m sure my cheeks are going to be so sore at the end of that day, if this session was any hint of how much laughter we have to come!
