And also the place where Allison and Patrick met. What’s not to love about this amazing city? Or this amazing couple!

If you remember a couple months back, I did an engagement session giveaway. Allison and Patrick were one of the lucky winners, and I was BEYOND excited that they were one of the random names I drew, once I read through their answers in the application!

Just the sweetest people and so excited for their engagement and upcoming wedding!

One of my favorite parts was that they lived in Pittsburgh and wanted to do their session there! First, at two local spots, Mario’s East Side Saloon and Restaurant and Noodlehead Restaurant, that were extra special to their relationship, and then to end the session at Point State Park as the sun was setting! Talk about dream session! I love when my couples choose locations that are unique to them.

And I’m a huge Steelers fan, so any chance I can get to go to that city, I am all for it! As the day slowly approached we were in constant communication, making sure everything was set and ready to go. It honestly felt like we were friends from high school just chatting and getting super excited for their engagement photos!

When the day finally arrived, Joel and I hopped in the car and made the 3.5 hour drive to Steel City (his first time ever being there). And once we finally arrived, the city did not disappoint! The weather was absolutely beautiful with only a few clouds in the sky!

I was so excited to finally meet these two in person! Like I said, it already felt like we had known each other for years.

The whole session was just us four walking through downtown Pittsburgh and Shadyside, catching up and hearing about how their relationship started. We took photos at the bar where they first met. Went to their favorite restaurant in Shadyside. They even got their favorite meals to-go for a cute date night after the session. And then ended their session by the fountain at Pointe Park with a beautiful sunset around us! I could not have asked for a better session with these two!

He was the cutest and just wanted to be as close to them as he could! He truly was the star of the show for the photos he was in!

This session perfectly captured Allison and Patrick. From telling the story of their dating years to capturing the current love they have for each other (and Cooper). I could not have imagined a better engagement session for these two! I am so excited for what is to come for them in the next few years as they plan the wedding of their dreams!

I am so beyond happy to have met you two and traveled through Pittsburgh from the lens of your relationship! It truly feels like we have known you guys for so long!
