Spring Sunshine Overlook Park Engagement Session

Springtime in Pennsylvania often times means thunderstorms and rain. Which of course is very important for the flowers and grass, but when trying to plan engagement sessions, it can be a pain! It means rescheduling and waiting until the last minute to know if it will hold off. But on the days it does hold off, or finishes ahead of time, it can hold some of the most beautiful sunsets! That is exactly what happened for Michaela & Christian!

We had the most beautiful spring sunshine Overlook Park Engagement Session.

I knew as soon as Michaela stepped out of their Jeep that it was bound to be incredible! Michaela had on a gorgeous light blue flowy dress. It was perfect! And Christian, looking just as sharp, wore a navy blue button up shirt. They complemented each other beautifully.

Not only in style but also personality!

Often times, one of the first things my couples will say as we are walking to the first location is how nervous they are. They don’t do this often. Not sure what to do with their hands. Michaela and Christian were no exception. But for me, I love when they say that.

It means they trust me!

It means I can show them how gorgeous and comfortable they can be in front of the camera. The session started off with each of them doing those nervous giggles. Trust me, I’m the SAME way in certain situations. By the end, though, Michaela had texted me that Christian mentioned how comfortable he felt and how much fun he had!

That right there is why I do what I do!

To allow my couples to have photos that they love of themselves! Especially when they don’t have very many pictures together! Joel and I were one of those couples for a long time! Now I am so thankful we do pictures regularly!

They are what remind you of all the memories you have together!

Michaela and Christian, you two are seriously amazing! I absolutely loved getting to know you two as we walked to the different locations. You truly complement each other so well, and your love just shines through! If tonight’s spring sunshine Overlook Park engagement session is anything like your wedding day at Antrim 1844, we are in for an incredible day! Thank goodness it is only a couple months away!
