Vendor Spotlight | RSVP Love

Jul 17, 2019

Happy Wednesday y’all!! I am sooo excited to be writing to you today because I am introducing a brand new monthly segment on my blog!! So, it’s time to grab some ice cream and start reading because this is going to be a good one!!

Are you ready?

As a wedding photographer, I strive to help my brides with any questions they may have along the planning process before they even come up! It allows them to stay calm and organized throughout their entire engagement! So I am going to be welcoming different vendors on to my blog to give brides different tips and strategies as they start to plan/design all of the other aspects of their wedding day.

I want you to enjoy this short but exciting time in your lives!!

So, are you ready? I am sooo excited to kick this off in one of the best ways I know how!!! I am welcoming Ashley from RSVP Love on to my blog to talk to you about wedding stationery (you’ll learn that fun trick shortly)! She is the absolute sweetest and gives the BEST hugs!! Ashley has some amazing information for you, and she also creates incredible work. So, if you are still figuring that part out for your wedding day, I would absolutely inquire with her!!! She even has a special discount if you read the whole way to the end!! I could honestly keep talking about how amazing she is, but I’ll let her jump in and share all that she has!!!

Enjoy!!!

XOXO ~ Heather Marie

“Hey there! I’m Ashley, owner of RSVP Love Custom Invitations. Fun Fact! “StationEry” is papEr and “StationAry” is stAnding in one place! I am a stationer, with a deep love for all things LOVE and paper!! As a graduate in Graphic Communications from Antonelli Institute, I realized my passion for stationery early on. In 2008, I found myself planning my own wedding to my high school sweetheart and designing and hand cutting my invitations! After years of creating for couples part time, I took a leap of faith and opened my home studio full-time in 2018.”

Isn’t her story just the sweetest???

“Stationery and invitations tend to be one of the last things couples think about. You know, that little detail of how guests will get to your wedding! Your invitations set the tone for your wedding and are the perfect way to showcase who you are as a couple!

So when should you start thinking of your wedding stationery?!

Honestly? It should be when you book your venue and secure your wedding date with your photographer (hopefully the amazing Heather Marie Photography!). We’ll want to start chatting about save-the-dates and getting them ready to send about a year to nine months before your wedding date. If you have family and friends traveling more than 2 hours, sending things earlier can help them to make plans well enough in advance to be a part of your day!

You’re invited-to sit back and relax! (This doesn’t come often during the planning so take her up on this!!)

When it comes to your wedding invitations, I take care of everything for you! From digital or hand lettered guest addressing, assembly, to even putting your postage on and taking them to the post office personally, you won’t have to lift a finger!! Seriously, go out on another date where you don’t talk about the wedding day but what your forever together will look like! It’s the part I love most. Taking such a huge wedding task off of your plate!

Some tips before we meet!

1. Know when your caterer and venue need their final count.
I will create a custom timeline for you, based on these needs, so you don’t have to wonder when things are being sent or are due!

2. If you are having a plated meal with options, know how your caterer needs that information back to them.
This will help to set up the RSVP card with the best information and save you time later!

3. Send any inspiration you have so far, like your Pinterest board, dress, flowers, anything that has inspired you as a couple.
I want to see the vision of your day and get to know you as a couple so I can bring that into your one of a kind invitation!

4. You’ve heard it by now but have a budget in mind.
I will walk you through all the postage options that come with some more complex invitations; but having a realistic budget with postage will help me to lead you in the right direction.

5. Bring any information you have gathered so far, like hotel accommodations, shuttle times, and meal options.
Your invitations are the ONE CHANCE you get to inform your guests! It’s much better to over inform them, than get more calls, texts and emails! I will help you sort through it all!

6. Think about the big day big picture.
From programs, menus, place cards, to seating displays and your thank you cards; I’ll also create day of stationery to be cohesive with your save the dates and invitations. It will truly make your wedding day one that will wow your guests!

With over 11 years of experience, I know the attention of detail and the level of craftsmanship it takes to design truly exquisite and unique invitations and stationery. I truly care about love and marriage. I am a cheerleader. A friend. And a resource for you and your spouse during and after your wedding day planning! I promise to make this process easy and fun! My heart is to serve my couples in a way that they can spend more time planning their marriage, than the wedding day! Love is in the details for me, and I would be honored to create for you!”
