Dreamy Historic Poole Forge Engagement Session
I know I have said this before, and I’m sure I’m gonna say it again, but my #hmpcouples sure know how to SLAY their engagement sessions!
Kt and Nate brought all the fire during their dreamy Historic Poole Forge engagement session!
This session was supposed to happen back in the middle of summer but an unfortunate rainy day came through and canceled those plans. So it was on to date number two, scheduled for the end of August. As the day was drawing closer things were looking great. Kt had found two beautiful dresses to wear for the session, and Nate was going to be looking quite dapper.
But then the thing we dreaded the most happened!
Rain was starting to show up in the forecast all around the date we had scheduled. Since Kt and Nate were from New York, we actually put two dates on hold, just in case this situation came up again. Thank goodness we did because we needed it! The week before the session, the forecast was looking like, out of the two dates we had saved, Wednesday was gonna be the winner. We never expected a tropical storm to come rolling up the East Coast and completely derail those plans. Wednesday was now the day that the storm was going to make impact on Pennsylvania! Just a side note: it did, and it did hard!
Thank goodness for that backup date!
We were easily able to shift everything to the Monday date instead, and it was a night to remember! Kt showed up in a beautiful green floral dress that showed her off so beautifully and flowed in the soft wind that was going that day. It was perfect for her! And Nate, just liked mentioned earlier, came in strong with his starting outfit.
A perfect compliment to her colorful dress.
Their session took place at the stunning Historic Poole Forge. If you haven’t been there before, you definitely need to go check it out. It is filled with a beautiful old stone house, a covered bridge, and an open field that ends down at a creek that flows along the edge of the venue. By far, one of my favorite locations! Kt and Nate just added even more to this location with their outfits and contagious personality and love for each other.
These two are definitely made for each other.
Any time I would look down at my camera for a moment to change a setting or make sure I got the shot, I would almost instantly hear these two start chatting or laughing at something the other said. There was never a dull moment, and they were just loving the entire session together. It was almost as if I wasn’t there, in the best way possible. Sure I was able to pose them to make sure they were in the most flattering position, but I was truly just about to capture their true love for each other!
It’s the best type of session as a photographer!
Our goal is always to show off who you are as a couple, in the most flattering way. Kt and Nate truly nailed it! Not to mention, they nailed it before we had even changed into outfit number two! Which may have even topped the first one! Kt wore a stunning white floral dress that was full length but light enough to beautifully flow behind her. She looked incredible, but I have to say Nate brought all the fire in his second outfit! He came out in a tan suit that made him look so sharp! These two were dressed to the nines!!
I don’t think I couldn’t have imagined any more perfect of a session!
Kt and Nate, you two are amazing! To say you guys nailed your session is a massive understatement! I mean you crushed it! I can’t get over how beautiful BOTH of your outfit choices were, plus how quickly you two looked comfortable in front of the camera! It was so much fun to photograph your love! Continue to laugh together each day, and never be afraid to skip down the side walk hand-in-hand. 😉 I can not wait for your wedding day in May 2022 at the beautiful Barn at Silverstone! It is truly going to be a showstopper, if these engagement session photos have any say about it!
