Romantic Wedding at Turf Valley Resort.
Everyone fell quiet, and all eyes turned to the center of the ballroom. Anticipation started to build as some people knew what was about to happen. Standing side-by-side were Mary-Pat and Josh. Located off to the corner of the dance floor. Smiling from ear-to-ear.
So excited that it was finally time.
Let me give a little back story before I continue. Mary-Pat and Josh were sadly one of my couples that weren’t able to have their big wedding last year, like they had planned. Luckily, they were able to still get married last year with a small ceremony. I had the honor of being able to photograph it. But the celebration with friends and family had to wait an entire year.
The anticipation had been building up the entire time!
Okay, back to the dance floor. The smiles on their faces weren’t only for the excitement of the day; they were for the realization that the wait was over. That the hours of practice were about to pay off. The realization that everyone could be together to share in this moment.
It was finally time!
As the music began to play, Mary-Pat and Josh looked at each other one more time. Smiles were shining. Almost saying to each other, let’s do this. Off they went. The two of them had learned a beautifully choreographed dance to share as their first dance.
So elegantly, they floated across the dance floor at their romantic wedding at Turf Valley Resort.
All eyes were on them. At different times throughout the dance, you would hear cheering or clapping. Everyone was mesmerized! It was truly so stunning to watch and photograph. I just love how each of my couples bring their own personality into the day.
It is so special to see their love shine through the different parts of the day.
At the end of the song, it ended with a final fun note, and Mary-Pat and Josh ended exactly as they started, hip-to-hip. With a fun kiss at the end to seal off the dance! The room broke out in loud cheers! It had been a long awaited dance, and it turned out beautifully! They deserved that moment!
Mary-Pat and Josh, I feel like that dance perfectly described you two! Elegant. Graceful. Filled with love and romance. And always a pinch of fun added all the time! You two have been a joy to work with, and I have loved how calm and organized you have been every step of the way! I am so excited for you to finally have all your photos from your wedding!
