Rainy Folino Estate Wedding

One thing that we, as photographers or brides, can’t control is the weather! We can cross all the fingers possible or say all the prayers, but in the end, Mother Nature has a mind of her own. So sometimes we just have to roll with the punches and rock plan B. That’s exactly what we did for Julie and Cale’s rainy Folino Estate Wedding.

Weather didn’t rain on this parade!

As the day began, the radar was definitely not in our favor. It was calling for rain 90% from 1:00pm on; however, every time would looked at it, the forecast kept shifting back, and the percentages decreased. We all were getting so hopefully. No rain was in sight as Julie stepped into her gorgeous dress at the beautiful Folino Eatate. It gracefully laid behind her as her mom zipped up the back and added her veil as the final touch.

She was absolutely radiant.

As Julie was inside with her girls, Cale was anxiously waiting outside for the first look to begin. The skies above were puffy white clouds rolling along. It was finally time. Cale faced out towards the rows of vines as Julie slowly came up behind him. With a light tap on the shoulder, Cale turned around, and instant awe came across his face. He seriously couldn’t believe how beautiful she was!

That was his soon-to-be wife!

The sun was shining as we started bride and groom photos in front of the grand wooden door entrance. Every place we went was another beautiful backdrop for these two! Julie’s bouquet, by the incredible Pondelek’s Florist, was just stunning and beautifully tied everything together. As we headed out towards the row of vines, the wind started to pick up a little. Nothing major, but just enough to notice.

It was so magical!

Julie and Cale were hand-in-hand walking among the never-ending vines of grapes. The wind was honestly working in our favor! It was beautiful. Then, unfortunately, the skies started to darken, and the wind picked up a bit more. Even with all the craziness around, the smiles on Julie and Cale’s faces were never wavering! They were seriously so happy to be together! We pushed it to the absolute last minute to get as many photos as we could before the skies let loose!

These two were incredible!

Although the rest of the day brought rain, Folino Eatate’s “Plan B” was absolutely magnificent. It was in an intimate room off of the reception space, and the rustic feel of a vineyard was all around! The florals that were added to the arbor at the front of the aisle were gorgeous, and the whole space came together beautifully for their Folino Estate wedding!

Julie and Cale, you two had an incredible day!

No matter what, the smile on Julie’s face shined through! She could not have been more excited to finally say yes to her best friend. The most important thing was that she was marrying him. She was now his wife!

That was all that mattered!

You two are seriously the best, and I am so lucky to call you both friends now! I can’t wait for you to have these photos forever and always remember how happy you were when you were pronounced husband and wife! It was such an honor to be a part of and to photograph it! Thank you!
