A Cloudy Fall Engagement Session at Overlook Park in Lancaster County

That was easy!

I swear, at the end of engagement sessions, I need the “Now, That Was Easy!” button. It is just so easy and effortless with each of my couples. We instantly connect every time, and it ALWAYS feels like we have been friends for years and are just catching up.

Don’t let Michelle and Evan tell you that they are not good in front of the camera!

These two absolutely killed each shot. They obviously nailed each smiling photo. I mean how couldn’t they? They are just so happy together, so smiling at each other was easy. I was even smiling just as hard the whole way through the session. And sometimes was even freaking out a little when I would see the back of the camera!

But, not only did they nail the smiling poses but, holy smokes, did they crush the more serious, soft poses! Evan has a killer model face, and Michelle and I were freaking out about it! He did it the first time, and instantly, Michelle’s head shot back in shock.

She couldn’t believe how well he could do that (and I’m sure how well he looked doing it 🙂 ).

I just love watching each of my HMP Couples interact. Each so unique, yet they are always so supportive of the other person. Smiling at them every chance they can get. Sharing quick kisses in between shots. Just so content when they are beside the person they are about to marry.

I just love engagement sessions!

But you know what can really make me extra happy at an engagement session? When a puppy is involved!! I am such a sucker for dogs, and Finley was no different! Finley was so full of energy, but when called, would look perfectly at the camera for me. And even hold it for a couple seconds before getting distracted again. Finley definitely is not camera-shy! Finley loves Michelle and Evan so much. At one point, we tried to do few photos, just the two of them, and Finley was whining the whole time until one of them would come back over. Dogs can definitely be a handful, at times. Trust me, I know from experience, but it is so worth it in the end.

You truly gain a best friend that will love you every single day!

Although Finley won’t be there, I am SOOO excited for Michelle and Evan’s wedding next year at The Barn at Silverstone! It’s on July 4th!! We are going to have such an incredible time celebrating their wedding and the birthday of America! I can’t wait!! Until then, enjoy some amazing photos of these two, and some killer model shots!
