Messiah College Senior Session

I could probably keep going for several more words to describe Alexis and her Messiah College Senior session.

It was quite the doozy for sure when it came to the heat, but this girl smiled through the entire thing and looked amazing the whole way through! Alexis showed up at the parking lot with a handful of outfits, and instantly, my heart was so happy! She was prepared and ready-to-go!

Just wait till you hear the special outfit she brought!!

For her session, Alexis really wanted to be surrounded by nature with some water involved in the photos. As she was looking through my blog, she instantly fell in love with this location at Messiah college! I mean who can blame her; it is a truly stunning secret spot. I always encourage my clients to click through my blog when they can’t decide on a location. It allows them to see exactly what the setting looks like and helps them envision themselves at the spot!

Right when Alexis saw it, she didn’t need to look anymore!

We started the session out surrounded by the beautiful willow trees that lined the end of the creek. Alexis wore a super cute black romper with the absolute best hat! Just wait till you see! It shows up throughout her session quite a bit. The light beautifully trickled through the trees behind and almost created a halo around her. Instantly, I could see her completely relax and just start to have fun!

She has the absolute best laugh!

From there, we made a super quick outfit change and headed over to the iconic water spot for this location. It is a shallow creek with a beautiful red covered bridge off in the distance. A perfect spot to grab a few photos out in the water with so much beauty surrounding us! Throughout the entire session, Alexis was just so excited for what was next. Completely willing to give anything a try and always nailing her signature laugh!

She was a natural at her Messiah College Senior session!

As we shifted in to the second half of her session, Alexis brought along an outfit that I had never had at a senior session before, but now I’m totally on-board for it! Any guesses? She brought along her prom dress from last year! With all the cancelations due to COVID, Alexis sadly didn’t have the chance to attend prom last year. Instead, some of her friends just got dressed up and had a party together. So she wanted to take some photos in her dress to remember the memories!

Oh my gosh, it was stunning!

She came out from changing, and the silk red dress just fell to the ground around her so perfectly. It just floated behind her each time she took a step! She was beautiful! I’m so glad her mom suggested the idea! It will definitely allow her to remember that prom but also give her beautiful photos in it that she wasn’t able to get.

Game changer!

We ended the session with her in a super cute white shirt with jeans. Plus, her adorable hat made an appearance again! Can you tell I’m obsessed with it? We were able to do some more fun shots with her sitting and walking among the willow trees with the creek behind! I can’t say enough how easy-going and fun Alexis was during her session.

I had so much fun getting to know her and her mom!

Plus, finding out that she is quite smart and going to college for something way over my pay grade! I can’t wait to see where that next step in her life takes her. But before then, I can’t wait to get her back in front of my camera because Alexis is one of my 2022 Senior Spokesmodels! Thank goodness this wasn’t the only session with her!
